No. Holding someone against their will is not treatment. A person brought in by force leaves at the first opportunity, and the next attempt becomes far harder. But saying no is almost never the end of it: we have a motivational psychologist who can travel to the person if that is what it takes.
Yes. We guarantee anonymity: we do not call your workplace, we do not contact relatives, and we do not disclose that you approached us.
Call first. There are conditions that need medical care before the programme can begin. We will tell you that plainly, rather than take the person in just so as not to lose a client.
They do. The illness is chronic and relapses happen — what matters is not that a relapse occurred, but what is done next. Coming back to the programme early, after a single episode, is a very different matter from a second rehabilitation after six months of using.
Contact with the outside world is limited during the first period by the centre's rules — this is protection from triggers, not a punishment. Calls and visits are arranged with the family separately.
